Well, that was a long disappearance, wasn't it? Let's see. NaNo went well, so I've got several chapters of FH that need polish but are otherwise intact. We went shopping yesterday. Nothing fancy, but we needed some groceries and my dad had some prescriptions to get refilled. It's the first time we've been since she died. It wasn't impossible, but it was kind of hard. She would've liked the tulips and lilies on sale for Easter. Her favorite movie -- The African Queen -- just got released on DVD. ( Read more... )

...I have survived! Well, okay, it's not quite over yet, but still. I have worked the last ten days. I work tomorrow. I then have off through Friday [at least]. Yay, it's cold. My feet are freezing and I haven't even gotten to work yet. :/ This is why my bag of stuff [aka my Tinkerbell bag; I have trouble calling it a purse] has a pair of gloves in it along with my notebook and some magazines and my DS.
